Welcome to Ivy Big Band
Ivy Big Band is an Edinburgh-based big band for women and gender minorities. We’re formed with the goal of breaking down the barriers that prevent women and gender minorities from getting involved in jazz, by creating a safe and inclusive place to play together.
Composed of 30 musicians, including saxophonists, trumpeters, trombonists, rhythm players and vocalists, the band blends jazz, pop, funk, soul and beyond.
